While October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it also is dedicated to National Bullying Prevention Month. CustomInk, an online tee-shirt design site, has launched an anti-bullying campaign to help unite people, and they have brought on-board a handful of celebs to join the cause.
The fourth annual Be Good to Each Other campaign is calling on YOU to help them spread their message. Whether you design your own shirt, or choose a celebrity-designed one, you can rock a charitable shirt to take a stand for kindness.
Let’s begin with the shirt from AnnaSophia Robb of “The Carrie Diaries.” Her shirt reads, “Let your heart beat with kindness. Be good to each other.”
Since her debut on “Glee,” Lauren Potter, who is also taking part, has been a crusader in the anti-bullying department. Growing up, Potter was far too familiar with being bullied. She opened up to People Magazine, saying, “Like so many other kids with special needs, I have been bullied. Kids in elementary school made me eat sand, and those same boys would walk behind me, teasing me. Finally I had enough, and I told them to ‘grow up.”
Others who joined the campaign include “The Thundermans”‘ Kira Kosarin, AnnaLynne McCord’s sister Rachel McCord, actress Katie Leclerc, Baltimore Ravens’ Justin Tucker, soccer star Christen Press, and “The Fosters”‘ Sherri Saum.
