ALI

Ali is a 21-year-old from Timonium, MD. She believes that cyberbullies should face penalties and that Internet privacy laws need to change dramatically. In October of 2010, she had the privilege of being on MTV's Town Hall Meeting with President Obama, where she was able to personally ask the President a question regarding digital abuse. She looks forward to seeing positive changes in the future and along the way hopes to be a friend to those in need.

ALLYSON

Allyson is a 21-year-old from Franklin, NJ who was cyberbullied, bullied, and harassed in high school after an ex-boyfriend forwarded a topless picture of her to her entire school. She has since done multiple interviews, goes to schools and talks to students about the dangers of sexting, and educates others on digital abuse awareness. She also appeared in the MTV News special "Sexting in America: When Privates Go Public." She is currently attending school for Vascular Sonography and is writing a book about sexting and the severe repercussions she had to overcome after high school. AMANDA

Amanda is a 17–year-old high school student living in London, Ontario, Canada. As a curious person who has a need to learn new things, she considers getting by in life through asking a never-ending list of questions. When she is not busy asking questions, she volunteers at Mind Your Mind, and serves as a Youth Advisory Board member at Ypulse. Now serving as a member of MTV's A THIN LINE Street Team, Amanda became interested in digital abuse because of her first-hand experience with cyber-bullying. She hopes her voice and opinion will help other teenagers and young adults out there who went or are going through the same thing.

BLAISE

Blaise is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter who is touring this summer with the School of Rock All-Stars. A dancer and former figure skater, she has appeared with Olympic champion Oksana Baiul in an original Broadway-aspiring on-ice musical ("Cold As Ice") and is currently part of an artist development program with renowned vocal coach Cari Cole. She has been profiled in Newsday for her anti-bullying song "Gossip Kills" (which appears on YouTube in support of the "Love Is Louder" and "It Gets Better" campaigns), with featured performances in events for The Arts Effect: Operation Girl Power and TedxYouth Day (streamed globally on Universal Children's Day 2010). She is also a member of the activist theater group Project Girl Performance Collective, with whom she most recently performed for the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. Blaise lives in suburban Long Island, 30 minutes from New York City. BRANDON

Brandon is a 17-year-old high school student in Des Moines, Iowa. As an intern at Monsoon United Asian Women of Iowa, a small grassroots organization aiming to provide services to ethnic Asian victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Iowa, Brandon works with his peers to raise awareness of and prevent domestic abuse, while promoting healthy relationships. He and a group of friends also started a school group called the Youth Empowerment & Leadership Organization (Y.E.L.O.) to encourage community service among youth. Brandon wants to spark community action from the youth to end digital abuse.

DEVON

Devon is very active in the fight against cyberbullying. He is a 17-year-old boy from Gilbert, Arizona who has seen firsthand the effects of cyberbullying and wants to take a stand against it. He is also active with A World of Difference and GLSTN Phoenix. Devon is also a major contributor to education in his community with many service projects throughout his time in high school.

DILLON

Dillon, 17, wanted to be a part of this campaign because online bullying is a major issue. He has dealt with it and so have some of his friends. He remembers the feeling of fear as a freshman being bullied and when he finally got the courage to tell the person to stop, they left him alone. He knew he didn't want to let it happen to others, and is glad to be a part of the Street Team because everyone in this group is one step closer to stopping digital abuse.

JULIE

Julie is seventeen, straight-edge, and a straight A student. She resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and volunteers for Nevada Partners and St. Rose Dominican Hospital. Digital abuse has reached a whole new level in her generation, and it's time to exterminate the hate. She is extremely passionate about digital discrimination due to her experience with it – Julie has been a bully and a victim, but now she is 100% dedicated to eliminating these issues. Julie wants to spread public awareness about identifying these issues, and collaborate on new ways to show the effects of digital discrimination.

MARGARET

Margaret is a 26-year-old who holds a B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University and lives in San Francisco, California. She has always believed in using technology to promote social change, and has worked on preventing HIV/AIDS, drug and alcohol abuse and digital abuse among her peers since she graduated. She has personally experienced digital drama and believes A THIN LINE can help establish proper online behaviors in our increasingly digital lives! When she's not mobilizing for a cause, she is playing video games, fashion blogging, or nerding out on pop culture and photography!

PHIL

Phil is 14 years old and lives in Franklin, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Franklin Teenangels Chapter, a division of Wired Safety. He has trained for over two years on many aspects of cybersafety, privacy and security, and cyberbullying. Phil applied to become a member of the street team because he wanted to help make technology safer and also educate people on safe use of technology. He believes that all of the technology that we have today can be great resources to use, but when it is used to abuse someone, then it is being improperly used.

ROLFE

Rolfe is a Digital and Broadcast Journalism major at the University of Georgia in Athens. He is 22 years old and grew up in Dacula, GA. Rolfe is a lover of social media and wants to make sure everyone's online experience is safer and more enjoyable. He believes digital abuse is one of the most pressing issues facing teens today. Rolfe is tired of seeing digital abuse result in tragedy and is excited to be a part of A THIN LINE's Street Team.

SHEENA

Sheena Rubino is 24 years old and from Long Island, New York. She graduated from New York University with a degree in Media Culture and Communications and is currently going for a Masters in journalism. As an undergraduate she interned at MTV Networks in the public affairs department where she worked on the A Thin Line campaign and realized the importance and seriousness of digital abuse. Today she truly believe that your experiences as a teen will shape the person you turn out to be in life and feels eveyone should have the right to a digital drama-free life.
